Visual Exploration Game - is a recreational-cultural experience that promotes a dynamic knowledge of the contemporary art collection set up in the seventeenth-century home-studio of the painter Antonio Calderara (1903-1978). The activity involves a progressive approach to the Museum which collects over three hundred works of painting and sculpture representative of the main international avant-gardes of the 50s, 60s and 70s, with particular attention to geometric abstractionism, kinetic art, op art and visual poetry. The first part takes place in the streets of Vacciago di Ameno, near the Museum, where participants will have to train their gaze and find shapes and details in the urban landscape guided by a booklet with 14 visual exercises. Subsequently, access is provided to the interior of the house-museum to visit all the exhibition rooms in search of works that correspond to certain compositional and emotional characteristics. The activity is suitable for everyone, both for those who enter the Calderara Foundation for the first time and for those who already know it.
